A friend on FaceBook posted this series of questions about heaven that she had with her two young children this morning. Such depth and searching at such an early hour. A M A Z I N G.
It’s hard as an adult to live with difficult questions rather than leap in with an answer. I’d advocate the use of the “i wonder” approach and learning to treasure the question.
From what I have seen and learnt, I know that many children have their own answers and ideas. Sharing in the questioning keeps open minds and open hearts… enjoy:
This morning has mostly consisted of questions about heaven, including but not limited to
- Will we see God and what does he look like?
- Where is heaven?
- Does God have a house with a roof?
- Will I see you/ grandparents/ friends etc.
- When will we go?
- If we all got squished by a bus would we go to heaven together.
